Madera Police have charged a woman with kidnapping after she reportedly took a child from church on Easter. Police say Josephine Garcia Moreno drove off with the child Sunday in Madera. The Downtown Clovis Fire Station will soon be back open because of federal money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. Detectives Looking for Suspect Accused of a Deadly Stabbing
A victim of a North Valley stabbing has been taken off life support. The suspect, 38-year-old Jesus Ortega, is still on the run.
